Take the yo form of the present indicative → drop the -o → add the new ending.
Example: hablo → habl- → hable, hables, hable, hablemos, habléis, hablen
Irregular stems carry over from the present indicative to the subjunctive.
Example: tener → tengo → teng- → tenga, tengas, tenga...
